Workshops

We are please to offer an annul workshop for helping professionals working with men and women seeking recovery.

 

The next work shop will be the weekend of Sept. (TBA) 2005 in Orlando Florida.

Workshop Outline:
NOTE: Variations of this workshop can be prepared and presented ranging in time from 2hrs to a full day of professional in-service training
 

General Workshop Agenda
* Gathering time to insure that participants are greeted, welcomed and made to feel

   comfortable. Insuring that no one is feeling threatened by having to in any way

   having to share any more than they feel comfortable with.* Key Note Presentation,

   Rev. Stephen Will address his own issue of abuse and survival with the help of a

   friend "Teddy" who was the first to hear of his abuse. His presentation is both

   comforting and challenging. 

Highlighting such issues as:
   - What Is Abuse 
   - Who Is An Abuser
   - Who Is At "Fault"
   - What Is Self Abuse
   - What Is Survival

* Participants are encouraged to share anything they feel comfortable sharing

   HOWEVER at no time is a participant asked to violate any of their issues beyond that 

   comfort zone. Through written exercises and visual imaging Rev. Stephen will

   address individual issues and common realities. 

Such as:
  - Was It Really Abuse ?
  - Was I To Blame ?
  - Who Else Knew, and why didn't they stop it ?
  - Who am I angry At ? 

* Time will be set aside for individual to consult BRIEFLY with Rev. Stephen, however

   this is not an individual experience this is a workshop presentation and interaction

   designed to clarify issues and offer program alternatives.
 

NOTE: The In-Service version if this presentation also contains clinical approach to both the cognitive and the regressive therapies, the intake, contracting and evaluation of the individual client. Also addressing the legal issues of abuse and the practitioners role therein.
